SEEING JAPAN : SPRING

Following rescheduling as a result of covid, the original May dated photo tour has been moved to 8 -22 April 2023 which means we can add Sakura (Cherry Blossom) to the experience. Sakura can be a very busy time in Japan but reduced travel numbers will really help in 2023.

Sakura Season in Japan

This is a creative image making tour and we wanted to make this photo tour a little more calm and focused so we have designed the itinerary so that we stay longer in three of our specially selected World Heritage locations – Mt Fuji Five Lakes, Yakushima Island and Kyoto. This means we can take time to explore each location, get into the zone, find images and focus on our image-making. We can sometimes return to places underdifferent weather conditions to make quite different images. Good photos come from taking time, not from rushing around making snapshots. More time means you get sufficiently familiar to wander and let images find you. Fewer locations also mean much less time is wasted on packing, unpacking and traveling.d images and focus on our image-making.
