Robert van Koesveld is known for his cultural portraits and ‘portraits of place’ – narrative streetscapes and landscapes. He pursues the qualities of emotion, spirit and timelessness within the final image. Robert works internationally and enjoys interviewing and photographing for stories and picture essays, including long term projects such as his books about Bhutan and Geiko.
Photography tours
Robert van Koesveld leads small-group photo tours to destinations he knows and loves, such as Japan, Bhutan and Ladakh. Itineraries are personally researched and scouted. Tours are led in collaboration with highly experienced local photographic guides and operators. Small guest numbers mean individualised 1-on-1 coaching is always possible and participants of any skill-level are well supported. Robert has been leading photographic tours for over 15 years.
Print Editions
As an outcome of his longer-term projects, Robert van Koesveld also produces fine-art prints in exhibition series. Printing to a gallery standard is something he values highly. He crafts individual wall prints, boxed folios, limited small editions and artists books.
